Château Malagar, white

AOC Bordeaux blanc

Château Malagar, Côtes de Bordeaux, covers 5 ha of white grapes of south facing slopes along the river.

This property formerly owned by 1952 Literature Nobel Price François Mauriac is a jewel of soft but powerful Bordeaux red and gorgeous whites. Jean Merlaut acquired the vineyard of the Malagar estate in 2004. Since then, he has worked with passion and energy to get the very best out of this terroir by rethinking a new relationship with the soil.

Tasting

“A completely successful seduction operation for this Sauvignon-Semillon blend, with particularly expressive and attractive aromas (yellow peach, apricot, lychee, rose, light vanilla notes). The attack, while supple, continues on a perfectly balanced, full mouth and fleshy, fresh and fruity, with good length. A classy cuvée, equally at home as an aperitif or at the table. “Terre de Vins
