Château Camensac , classified as one of the eighteen Fifth Growths in the Classification of 1855, is a winery in the Haut-Medoc appellation. It is situated between Saint-Julien and Gruaud Larose. Chateau Camensac produces two wines, first label Chateau Camensac and a second label, La Closerie de Camensac. In organic agriculture since 2019.

Description
The resulting wine has both the power and the elegance. The tannins are ripe and silky on the palate. A very nice balance. We can classify this vintage among the classic ones.

“This well-endowed Pauillac has a deep plum/purple color, and a classic nose of cassis, licorice, barbeque smoke and a touch of oak. Medium-bodied and dense with fleshy fruit as well as silky tannins, this is a delicious wine to drink now and over the next 10-14 years.” – Wine Advocate

Description
The wine has a fine and elegant aromatic profile. It blends subtle hints of cocoa beans, black fruit and a floral touch. Nice aftertaste. The tannins are still present, but the wine has a beautiful structure both pure and right.
Tasting
“This has superb definition and purity on the nose: raspberry, wild strawberry, a touch of violet and graphite. The palate is medium-bodied, firm tannins, smoke and graphite, nice poise and length with a hint of bitter cherry on the aftertaste.
